I don't think he really left. I have a theory that he is still lurking in the shadows like a scary ghost.

I question how you would honor those who are no longer with us.  Would the best way to honor a famous person be to remove their statues and life's accomplishments from the face of the earth?  Likewise turning Jake's board into a read only one that no one can see is a slap in the face. 

Renaming the board was a joke.  An awful one at that.  But none the less Jake appreciated Jokes.  And he enjoyed making fun of me for the awful ones.  What better way to honor him?

I propose that you don't delete the board and that nothing should change if Jake chooses to never return.  Generally questions asked in this section weren't answered by just Jake.  Rather it was a board for a certain type of questions and topics.  Jakish type topics...  Even with the moderator gone, the board will still be used.
