has anyone here worked with a php Framework before? Any suggestions?

I have to start making a user restricted pages by user group. Adding a shopping cart would be nice. Is there a frame work with this in mind. If I had to guess I would say they all have this in mind, but I don't have any experience with them.

I can't say that I have.  And the only shopping cart I've worked with is oscommerce.  Other than that, it's all been straight from my head to notepad.

Crimson editor FTW.

Get it, it's free, lightweight and will save you so much time and so many headaches.

Ok, I lied, I use GoLive for the site management and syntax highlighting.

Those aren't frameworks.... those are editing tools. But I will look into Crimison Editor, currently I have been using Textpad

Yes I know.  I think we just kinda broke off on a tangent.  Anyway, what frameworks were you looking at?

CakePHP
Symfony Project
Seagull Framework

I think I need to look at examples of what people have done with these frameworks to see if any of them fit my needs.

I hear really good things about CakePHP.  Plus I like their website the best :p
But like I said, never used one, so good luck with the search.
