I happened across this site the other day while I was searching for something.  And it struck me as incredibly perty.  I have seen some damn fine websites in my day, but some of thier stuff is near top the list.

It is still Flash, it is pretty much only good for pretty.  Even still, WOW.

Pretty, yet hardly functional.

Roger that.  I have seen some pure flash sites that were amazingly functional for Flash.  One even had a right click Open in Window or tab.  But the people at 2Advanced don't seem to care about any of that yet.

They are an amazing studio though.  The average Joe there runs a $5000 computer + multiple display costs.  And the work they do is quite pleasing to the eye.  Maybe I could get a job there if I could figure out some SEO and accessibility stuff for Flash?  </ end dream>

That site is pretty flashy.  Looks good, but I still don't like flash websites.

I think a lot of average Joes agree with that too.  Especially since most flash sites sacrifice the already limited functionality for eye candy.

It is sad that the media industry feels compelled to use all Flash sites.  Most of those websites are large, clunky, distracting and rather useless.

Check out this website and the three ones it links to.  I love these sites, they are like EP.com with all the floating divs.  And they apply them smartly to make navigation and site look fluid and impressive.  As an HTML designer who receives fixed PSD templates from people who know nothing about HTML, I appreciate it when someone takes true advantage of the fluid widths and alignment to create a great look and improve the sites functions/accessibility.  Good job whoever you are.  My hat is off.
