The only way to understand any part of this show even a LITTLE bit requires you to start with Season 1 Episode 1 and work your way up from there.

Except for the parts where it doesn't make any sense at all...

but I still love it.

Yeah I'm going to need to get fired or something in order to get into Lost cause of the whole needing to watch every episode thing. I hear it's really good though.

The catch up thing probably covered 1/2 of last season, maybe 1/8 of the season before, and so on.

Trust me, you're lost.

yeah i'm noticing so many things that make me anxious for it to end so i can start watching it over from the beginning and catch all the little moments that for-tell what will happen later on in the plot.

i was starting to get sick of it the season before last, but this last one really brought me back

I have exactly the same sentiments.  Season 3 I was pretty tired of it.  Last season started to get better, and I have a ton of the "a-ha" moments.

As soon as it's all over (two more years?) we're going to start over from the beginning.  Unless the ending totally blows, which is quite possible.

And yes, we're on season 5.

Yeah I like shows that have ended already so I can download it all and have a sleepless HD watch-a-thon with no commercials like:

BSG
Rome
Sopranos
Arrested Development
Futurama
Samurai Champloo
Full Metal Alchemist

Then there are shows I watch live cause I enjoy them enough like:

HIMYM
30 Rock

and then there are critically acclaimed shows that I'm just waiting to end cause I'm too lazy to watch live like:

Lost
Dexter
etc.

I loved Rome.  So much.  Sad it ended after only 2 (or was it 3) seasons.
True Blood was entertaining as well.
Dexter is a great show too, probably my favorite.

I don't watch any shows live anymore.  So much easier to download them off newsgroups.
