Fuking good movie. The End.
28 weeks later takes off months after the infected have starved to death and the US-nato force has created a green zone somewhere in Britain and have started repopulating strictly in the green zone. Outside the green zone called the red zone is currently being cleaned of all traces of blood and bodies from the horrible massacre.
Actually, though, the movie starts in a cellar of an old cottage house where several survivors have gathered. And that scene provides an important part of the movie. I won't give detail on this but if you really want to, you can see most of that scene on youtube as it's been released officially. But it's best to wait and see that during the whole real movie.
A train heading for the green zone city is told of what the military is currently doing and they're explained of the safety of the green zone. Particularly, you watch two siblings, a brother and sister, who reunite with their father waiting for them at the train station.
Later discovered, another survivor has made it out alive from the infected, but suspiciously, that survivor was the first survivor found since two months before the last known survivor. As you may know, this survivor is the carrier of the rage virus and is the source of the reinfection to Britain. How exactly do they get reinfected?
Well, go watch the movie, silly-goose-panda. And actually, there's two flaws in to how this happens, but you'll easily figure it out.
In the official trailer, you see Jeremy Renner from S.W.A.T. play a role in this movie as a savior to some of the survivors. He's kept that same attitude seen in S.W.A.T. which makes me wonder about his ability to act. Nevertheless, I enjoyed his performance as he's a selfless, quick, and sniper&rifle toting soldier. Of all the actors/actresses, Jeremy Renner was the one I really only wanted to mention. Everyone else did just fine though.
The music was awesome. It matched perfectly with the high adrenaline scenes and that just added strongly to how the movie presented itself.
Here's what I felt at most of the time:
holy crap, when are they going to let me relax. The intensity was HIGH, and the movie was done well enough that even the day scenes felt intense. They really wouldn't just let you relax except for when the kids were reuniting with their dad, and the thriller feeling kept alive in myself. Several times i felt scared, and this is a surprise to me as movies such as The Ring or The Grudge did not budge me (I laughed during The Grudge).
I'm surprised a good movie like this wasn't released later this year in October as that would have been perfect. Comparing to the 1st movie that was awesome, I feel that 28 weeks later is a much better movie. More Intensity, More thriller, and More Money: their budget for this movie was pretty high just by going off from watching it.
I highly recommend watching this movie as I will say that this is the best zombie movie that I have ever seen.

's out of 5.
I put it in spoiler tags cause, it looks like it gave away a bit too much for people like me that LOVED 28 days later.
