I still think that its kinda lame we are forced to buy admins to keep our current abilities.

Also:

Quote
At the discretion of the senate/community, higher level admins may be given out without donation. These instances will be rare.

Lets face it, this has never happened in basically the history of oPg, the only person outside of the Senate that has anything over Deputy Admins and hasn't donated more than $200 is DirrtyJ and he doesn't play that often anymore.

What you mean to say is "This will never happen for logicaL!"  If you want to be able to bitch slap instead of just kick people for being ass holes then you need to be willing to pay the price, whether it be $$$ or doing what is necessary to be exhaulted by the original oPg.

Jake is a full admin.

You have elemental admins or something?

You're wrong.

I think one reason full admins shouldn't be handed out is the use of the map change.  Some people might change it to whatever map they want meaning non-cal rotation maps.  Other than that there isn't really a problem, I think.  If we give out admins that have voting abilities maybe just have the cal rotation maps on the list.  Other than that I don't see problems in handing out full admins to the selected few and creating admins with voting privilidges. If this is possible.  This meaning top donators. People who participate in the community constantly with forums, events, cal team and donations.

That ability isn't being given to anyone. There's now way to use it without abusing it, so no point in giving it out.

I think vote map would be helpful to all levels above deputy.

EDIT: On second thought, no I don't. We have a CAL rotation that works.

In my opinion, the only usage of elemental admins seems like it can only be used for abuse; not to say that you can't freeze someone without abusing it, but there seems to be many more reasons you would use elemental admins illegitimately than you would say, kick/slap/ban. Thats my 2 cents worth.

Okay, I'm scrapping this whole idea and taking things back to the drawing board.

I won't run a pay-for-admins system as I doubt it would help us anyway.

I'll consider this topic dead unless people want to chime in about what they want to see in a higher level admin policy.

just a suggestion: there are a whole bunch more SM plugins that give more fun things to do and adding those in would only increase the incentive to donates

err edit: just read the last post doh
