So, just wondering why your pub has a swear filter. It's really annoying.

The words we have filtered are against the ToS of our hosts. All words which do not violate the ToS are unblocked.

If I was a host, I'd rather have a clause in my ToS like that than risk a lawsuit. |

I personally like swear filters. It seems to keep people that heavily season their sentences with swears away. And it's pretty annoying when somebody is just saying the same word(s?) over and over again.

I like how people cant use the n word in the server no longer. Also if they by-pass it I tend to ban them really quick.

you know, i notice when people curse in team chat, and it censors it, i can see their text even if i'm on the opposite team. is this something built into source mod?
