Okay than, I'm going to touch on a controversial issue. I full well realize how much fun, and how funny it is to harmlessly or otherwise use your admin powers against friends. But, this also really detracts from the server, when all you see is

And your trying to type to someone, but it disappears so quick that you have to scroll halfway up the console to find it. More than it being inconvenient, it also drives away competitive players. To illustrate, a CAL players is searching through the server list, sees an NFo 100 tick hyper accel server and goes "Hey, I gotta get me some of that!". He than proceeds to login. Upon logging in he finds the admins playing with their powers, and draws the conclusion that this server must not be very competitive when ti is filled with spam and "harmless" admin abuse, so he leaves.
Now I'm no insensitive to the fact that it can sometimes be funny, and that the people who pay for the server should obviously be allowed to have fun. But there are otherway to demonstrate the fun nature of the server, without using your powers. Plus they don't detract form the server.
What I would recommend, is some general guidelines for when, why and how to use your admin powers. And than try to only stray from it, like once permap.

I totally agree on the admin abuse, and I'd prefer to see it stop or it may be necessary to revoke slap, and beacon from deputy admins.
I'd prerfer not to, but from what I've seen it may be necessary.
I believe that admin abilities should not be used to "test things out" or to just "have some fun." You are given those abilities to help regulate the server; please use them, don't abuse them.

And if they are demonstrated for the above mentioned things, make sure to do it when ONLY you and other opg members are on and everyone is down to have fun.

The thing with new admins is that they will always, undoubtedly want to try things out. After a few days the "new-admin" smell wears off & they calm down.
