Due to the increased activities and responsibilities of the oPg Gaming Community, the Senate would like to add two additional members to the Senate for a total of 7 Senate Members. The responsibilities of the new members will be to assist with the overall management of the community, the servers, the websites, competitive play and to seek new and interesting growth opportunities for the oPg community.
Like the previous held Senate positions, the new Senators will be an appointed position by the community and will be for a term of sixth months. After the six months have passed the position will be opened for other members of the community to fill for six months, and so on for the foreseeable future.
The new members of the Senate must be a member of the oPg community, in that they must be active forum members for at least one month before the elections. All Community members may vote. Potential Senate Members must be nominated and seconded by someone other than themselves by a date established by the Senate on the current nomination thread. Those that have been nominated will then be voted upon by the community. If more than 4 members are nominated and seconded then a primary will be held where votes will be cast for one week. After the primary, the top 3 nominees will be voted upon for an additional week.
At the end of the final votes, the top 2 candidates will be appointed to the Senate.

August 16th.
Additionally, to assist in the community needs, the Senate has asked Jaminz to remain in Office for an additional six months. He will assist the new Senators with questions and continue his role in the community.
