Hey everyone, is there a performance hit if I had say 3 SATA harddrives and had my DVD drive on an IDE bus? Like is there a cost to performance to mix / use both controllers?

Logical is right.  I have the same setup in my computer.  Three SATA HDDs with my DVD Drive on IDE.

Awesome, cuz i was too lazy and put the new sata dvd drive in my htpc machine anyways. I hate to have to swap out the one that's already in the tower Cheesy
