Holy flip our economy is stronger than I thought.  Supposedly Canada is the only country not affected, and yet $116 Canadian equals U.S. Dollar: $1 USD.

I was thinking that we could test nuclear bombs there.  Iran would probably rent it from me for $10/mo.  In 5 months that investment payed off.

I would get a netbook, because honestly my macbook pro is too heavy/risky to be longboarding around campus with.

I was kind of interested in the HP 2133, which has a sturdy (not eeeeeee cheapo) aluminum construction, albeit that it's a VIA powered chip and gets hot, still it's just a netbook.

I've been through 2 gaming laptops (first one radeon 9600, second one x1600) and I guess if you count my macbook pro with the 8600gt a gaming laptop then 3. So far I've regretted the decision each time.

The <2.5 lb weight thing would make the biggest difference... especially throughout the school year. When I went from a 7lb laptop to a 5.8-ish one, I noticed after awhile...
