So there is these sennheiser headphones on newegg that are 50% off right now, normally 200.

Really Considering on getting them cause my audio technica ath-900 broke in a spot.  There still usable but are less comfortable. Then when I first got them. Would these sennenheiser be worth it and same performance as the ath-900.

sennheiser - HD 280PRO

i also have a question:

i currently have the hd555's from last summer. still work great. but with the hd280pro on sale like this...worth getting?

edit: maybe they're not worth it. found an article from 2004 when he bought the hd280pro for 100 bucks.

B.ho sennheiser products always go on sale off and on newegg.  Like you, I'm wondering the performance of these.

Almost everywhere has the 280 Pros at $100.00 these days.

They're a decent headphone, I'd imagine them similar to your ATH-900's.

What broke on your 900's? If it's one of the wings you can pick up replacements for cheap.

The plastic on the actual can that connects to the arch, not the wing.  The wire is also visible from this.  They work, there just a little snug. I get hotter then before and long use of time can get headache.
