What are you hoping to accomplish by this DNS server?  Pointing internet users to your website?

If so, throw in the towel.  Use a free service (zoneedit.com is good).  You'll have to have your name hosting company update the DNS servers with zoneedit's, however.

If you're trying to set up an internal DNS server, we can talk. Smiley

Who provides your name hosting?

you are going to have to punch a hole in your firewall for port 80 to that computer (if you have a firewall). otherwise people won't be able to access your website.

this means xxx.com points to the ip address of your firewall/modem/whatever has a public ip address, at which point you will point port 80 to be directed to the 192.168.x.x address.
