Ok guys, my motherboard only has 2 internal usb connectors(the ones that connect to ie. front panel or something)

1 is in use for my case front usb ports...

1 is in use for the 5.25'' internal card reader...

There's 3 awesome usb ports that also came with the card reader, but require another internal usb port(to plug the cable into.)

I can't plug that anywhere... does not compute.... Huh

I'm out of pci slots so don't encourage me to buy usb expansion (The whole point is to have the full functionality of my 5.25 cardreader/front panel.) I don't need any more usb ports in the back.

EDIT: I guess what I'm looking for is if I can split a USB header, or get more USB headers.... Help is greatly appreciated.

Am I SOL? Any creative solutions? Should I jam my remaining usb cable from the card reader into these "com" ports? (serial, prob. a terrible idea)

You could get a USB hub

That was gonna be my advice.  It sounds like you already have some usb ports on the front of your comp, and you were just wanting to add another panel?  If you really want the panel as part of the comp (for looks or whatever reason you want) we'd have to go with something different, but if you're just looking for functionality then get a usb hub.

You could get a USB hub

Hub is unfortunately what i am not looking for. My USB in the back of my case is all full (wireless kb+mouse, wireless controller, usb wired mouse, treo 755 stand..... I think something else too)

And it's not for whatever reason i want a usb panel, it's that I needed and bought an internal card reader, which happened to come with 3 usb ports that I can't use thanks to the lack of an extra motherboard header (the card reader portion already plugs into one.)

I'll just end up getting a full size mobo.
