Anyone here know where I should go to read up on high end designer monitors?  I found a CNET page and in spite of it's being CNET it seems to have some pretty good reviews... from years ago.  Searches for those monitors on Newegg yields poor results.

I do want an LCD, you should see my deskspace.  I have an inch between the edge of my desk and the start of my keyboard.

CNET, like Gamespot, sells reviews. Do not trust them.

That is all.

CNet is the one that sells reviews, since they were the ones that own Gamespot and Fired Gerstmann (which made 4 other major editors leave).

I'd probably look at newegg for a good monitor, then google for some reviews (or read the user reviews)

Okay, I won't believe CNET then.  I love my Samsungs, but my latest one (the one I'm returning) is one of those with the saturation ramped up and it doesn't go good alongside my 204BW.  I would like to get a highend monitor, and I'm severely debating the 305T.  But the price tag is a bit much.

the guys at work seem to like the dell ultrasharp monitors. it has to be the ultrasharps for good color and bla bla bla stuff though. if you want i can find out more information about why the exact reasons, but they have a pretty significant experience w/ graphic design and such.

CNET raved about those monitors too.  Newegg doesn't sell Dells but maybe another source I trust will.  Thank Crack.  I'll be looking into that.

EDIT: While I'll be.  Everybody raves about these monitors.  Count me anti-dell, but I'm sold.  I even found one for cheap.  Pending a slighlty more in depth investigation I'm buying it.  Since it's their high end monitors they come with the pixel guarntee.

Yes sir, it's awesome.  And it's $250 right now...  I'd almost be tempted to buy another.
