Or fo rthat matter, the reset button.  Also check for a pet, a polish midget, and a power outtage.

Is your CPU overheating?

Well, when it restarts is it just a restart or is it a freeze to a restart, or BSOD to a restart?

If it's just a restart then something is either overheating, or you have a HD problem. (Most likely) But I can't realy make a diagnosis with the current information.

My thoughts exactly.

my temps never get above 40c on my cpu and my mobo.  I haven't got a freeze up in such a long time and the only time i would get them is in frozen throne playing dota not source.

it hardly ever happens maybe its my cat just f***ing around on the ground but i never have caught him in the act maybe hes super fast.

but it rarely happens if it occurs more often or does it again ill post it.

or maybe its just my fat cat like someone mentioned   Angry
