Ok I already back up my documents every single night a file server in my basement. But I want a backup utility I can roll back my OS to if something crashes. (Which knowing 64 bit, something bad happens every month)
So please discuss.

The only one I've ever used it Norton Ghost. I thought it was crap, but my local college uses it every night for all their computers, possibly there is something there after all.

Nah, norton anything is usually crap.
I personally wouldn't touch ghost with a 10 foot pole.
Oh and jed, you know that drivers which causes you to blue screen? When I get a BSOD from that driver, I'm toast. It's not just a reboot, it's windows = fried.

I don't sir, for some reason I can't convince my comptuer to stop rebooting on fatal errors, so I can't view the driver .

Have you checked how hot your CPU is getting?

It's not the CPU, she stays under 44*C at load.
That's with the OC, when I drop the OC (still crashed after about a month) I don't break 33*C.

Yea, I pretyt much bought my water cooled system for the new CPUs though, the quadcore ones. Although I may have to end up upgrading once the 8 cores come out, those things are going to be flipping hot, unless they are all 45nm?

Umm you wanna know what I say about 4, and 8 core CPUs.
BLOODY WRITE PROGRAMS THAT MAKE USE OF 2 CORES BEFORE WE GET TO 8.
Thank you.

I think they're pushing further with the idea of having the OS manage core use. So it will really just make multi-tasking easier more efficient. I know with my Core 2 Duo I can switch between apps soo quickly and they all run soo smooth...
But yes, it would be nice to have more than one CPU being used on a single application.
Core 2 Duo chips are amazing by the way...
