I switch between 2 518s and a 510 depending on what computer I'm on. Just don't install setpoint or hit the up/down dpi buttons, and you won't see the difference.

I use the G5.  I don't have any problems with it.  I keep it on the middle setting.  Sensitivity 1.5.
