Nice! How do you like the shadow?
Before the opportunity arose to get an S4, I had my sights set on a V-Twin 1100 or a Shadow. The audi won out, but come 5 years I'll get a bike.

i love it, cruisers and dirt bikes handle soo differently, it'll take some getting used to, utah drivers suck!

Niiiiiiiiiiiiice. I have an '03 750 cc Honda Shadow ACE. We should go for a cruise sometime.  And you're damn right, Utah drivers are the scariest in the world, I swear. I can't count the number of times I've almost been hit this summer. Either next summer or the summer after, I'm going to upgrade. Probably get a Raider or something. |

It has a new paint job. Silver and dark blue. Not my favorite, but it's only a temporary bike (my first) so I'm not complaining. It has aftermarket pipes too, so it's nice and loud. Not loud enough for the morons that drive here apparently.
You'll have fun on the driving test. You used to be able to borrow someone's 250cc and take the test, but if you do that now, you're only able to ride up to a 649cc. You have to take the test on a 650cc or above to be able to ride anything.
The new law sucks ass.
Or does the MSF class void having to take the driving test?

The MSF class does. It's not a legal guarantee, but unless you are an ass about it, the DLD/DMV will usually waive it. |

O = 90 cc or less Motorcycle
2 = 249 cc or less Motorcycle
3 = 649 cc or less Motorcycle
If you are tested on a motorcycle 650 cc or greater no restriction will be placed on your license and you will be permitted to ride any size motorcycle.
at the end of the course they test you on the 250cc rebel they provide for the class, the DMV does honor that. but you can test on your own bike later on so you'll have no restriction.
