we're currently watching its progress on tv right now, and there are people standing on the wing of this 'floating' plane rescuing passengers. it looks very a-la-walking on water..

i cannot stand laguardia airport. oakland airport. san francisco airport. or any other airport for the fact that the landing and take off is directly over water. (granted, it is significantly better if there is water compared to land when crashing i suppose) however, lissa's fear of the deep dark blue water is very real.

I flew from Las Vegas into Salt Lake on Sunday, and while Taylor and I were driving out of the airport to go home I happened to wonder out loud how often airplanes hit birds and if it causes any problems.  And here we go.  Scary!
