- The only way countries have been created throughout HISTORY has been by them being invented within, or taking, other nations. Primary examples, Ottoman Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire, Roman Empire, French Empire, Germany's attempt at a 2nd Reich...etc
All of those examples are of countries being lumped together, at no point other than Renaissance age colonization have countries done what the Jews did. Millions of Norwegians don't just move to Brazil and set up shop.
- Its more than 17. Source?
Reuters, I wasn't current though, it's up to 60 now.
- No "gun" has been put to a neighbors head as you stated, as the creation of the state itself was done democratically in the UN. The nation given dominion and rights to the land at the time (Britain) gave the land to the jews on their own free will, they werent forced to do anything.
Do you know what Democracy means? It would mean that the people living there would vote on it, which obviously as you stated, didn't happen because there was no Zionist majority and as such Palestinians were forced out of there homes to leave in mass.
- I didnt say the formation of the state in that specific location just happened by chance, when the first zionist congress met with Theodor Hertzl propsing the idea of zionism, the jews in the 19th century were offered Uganda as their homeland but they turned it down as they wanted to have Jerusalem, a city close to their spiritual hearts, obviously that location was what the jews were interested in and after losing a significant amount of their population after WWII, and certain national interests being taken into account by western powers, the formation of the state was agreed upon in a democratic manner. If your thinking of arguing that the palestinians were there as well, well then I present you this argument.
Again, that isn't Democracy, your notion of what Democracy seriously scares me. Do you also consider installed dictators "elected" by foreign entities to be Democratic? They toyed with the idea of Argentina too, but hey, guess what, that wasn't theirs either.
There is no such thing as a palestinian. Now your thinking, well thats a bold and hatred filled statement. Let me explain. When the British ruled over the middle east, what is today Jordan and Israel was one state called Transjordan. All peoples within this British province were known as Transjordanians. With the British agreeing to create the State of Israel, the province was split into Israel and Jordan, the majority of Arabs in Israel moved to Jordan and became Jordanians, those who refused to leave fought the Jews and served as a mediocre arab fighting force in the 1948 War of Independence within Israel. The Palestinians never owned any land, it was British.
They're Arab, just like the Lebanese and Syrians. But they lived in Palestine which most people would say makes them Palestinian. That's like saying there is no such thing as the French or Belgians, just Caucasians.
And to say that the British were the ones who rightfully owned the land is beyond the ridiculousness that I will debate. If you think that what Britain was doing was legitimate, then I don't even want to imagine the rest of the irrational drivel in your head.
