this is from the movie 'dancer in the dark' about a migrant worker that is going blind and imagines she is in a musical when things are bad, because "in the musicals nothing dreadful ever happens." it's one of the saddest movies if ever seen.



the strings version of this song is one of my top 5 all time favorite songs. it gets more interesting a minute in.
