I've got worms from the arcade but don't own any other games. I'm gonna rent a few and see what is good. Loving the media playing capabilities, the thing pulled up all the videos on my myth box like magic but it took me a few hours to get it talking properly with my xp box and wmp11. Love that I gotta restart the service after I add files to my library for them to show up, ms + ms = fail, ms + mythbuntu = win.

Streaming audio is ftw. Streaming video is kinda iffy. Although most of the time when I'm playing a single-player game I just use my PC and listen to tunes. |

we just started sharing audio and video with our xbox's here and the video will sometimes be kinda jerky. not bad, but noticeable on pan shots and the like.
i was pretty upset i had to install wm11 to share though.

I don't think you do... I don't connect through the "media center" but with Connect360 on the mac. It has no problem with streaming.

You either have to use WMP11 or another program that will provide streaming. Transcode360, TVersity, Orb, etc.

Fuppes works and is free. It's been the most rock solid for streaming, but it takes a while to figure out and set up.

I do have a Gold account now (okay I've had it for a while).
Playing MW2, NHL 10, the occasional Halo 3 game... and once I get around to it a bunch of single player games (Armored Core: For Answer, Kameo: Elements of Power, etc).
