The background for this game is, Rayman finds himself in a situation where thousands of crazy Rabbids (Crazy, screaming rabbit like creatures) are trying to take over the world... or something like that... Anyways, through a series of mini-games you face off against these Rabbids in an attempt to save the world.. or something like that.

My wife and I played this game for about an hour last night.  At first we weren't so sure what to expect as some of the levels were 1 quick task followed by a YOU WIN notice, but as we moved through the game we really started to enjoy it.

The end levels where you get to shoot plungers at the rabbids who are anxious to end your existence are excellent and a true example of how fun the Wii can be.  It takes the fun you use to have playing gun games at the arcade and brings it home to the television.

The graphics and sounds are good, probably one of the more polished wii games so far.

But if you're looking for a fun game that the family/friends can enjoy together this is one to pick up.

I witnessed my first Wii-accident as my wife smashed her hand into the coffee table as she tried to dance the nun-chuck controller.

ADDITION:  We've continued to enjoy this game.  The multiplayer plunger games can be fun and some of the mini games are just amazingly funny.  You can find this for $39.99 at some locations and its worth every penny if you enjoy playing quick mini games and/or gun arcade games where you shoot the screen like Area 51.

Good times for all, I'd give this 4.5 out of 5
