I bought L4D and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. I believe those are the only two games I've ever bought.
HL2/CSS was won in a LAN tourney when I was good at CS. Oh how the time passes.

<3 Chaos Theory is one of my favorite games to date, also the soundtrack is done by one of my favorite musical artists, it doesn't get much better than that I do pirate most of the games I play. I don't have any source of income, so I can't buy them. Especially won't buy if its single player only i.e Dead Space (good game btw) and Prince of Persia (also good) |

I played it on the 360. The idea is fun, but the gameplay gets incredibly old incredibly quick.
They boast an open world, but really there are only 2-3 ways to get to the point you need to go to, and they're all mapped out for you.
First hour, this game was a blast. Second hour, meh. Third hour, boring.

i used to buy all my games and i probably still will if there comes a game my little bro doesn't buy first. at least for the next couple years i won't need to because he just keeps buying all the good games on the ps3 and 360 and lets me borrow.
i still might buy left 4 dead, but that means i would need to build a new pc.
i enjoyed mirrors edge only because i was able to realize it's not a shooter, it's a race. you just have to beat your own best time really and that can be fun for a while but i can see it getting old really quick for most people.
