So I was in a few EB games here in the US yesterday and in the subsequent days, and I realized something. In all of these locations, all of which were in shopping malls, there were no PC gaming sections. Only console sections. Other than brand new releases and a few copies of WoW I have seen nothing. Has anyone else noticed this, and if so is PC gaming in your opinion dying out?

PC gaming has been 'dead' or 'dying' since the 90's.
The biggest problem with PC gaming now is piracy. Developers release a game and it is pirated at a much higher rate than console games.
This has been happening for a while, but the means to pirate games has become so accessible to absolutely any idiot that we may see a slowdown in PC gaming.
Although, if PC gaming dies out it is only a matter of time until pirating console games becomes available on the same scale.
I think we may see a slowdown, but it isn't going to die.

Might see a large move towards pay to play type games, and the continuing move toward Steam type products, although at the Denver Airport I did see a whole crap load of PC gaming stations that I found kind of funny.

I love next-gen gaming on the pc, and i do pirate most of my games. BUT, if i like the game a lot, i'll buy it.
