There is no game that is more complex, full, awe-inspiring, and perfect like the Metal Gear Solid series. Has anyone seen all the trailers for MGS4?? first, i'm like 'OH SHIET!!.' then watching another video makes me go ,"OH SHIET!!!." And just a few days ago i saw another new one, and i'm like '"OMFG WTF, DID I JUST SEE WHAT I JUST SAW??!??!!"(referring to a particular part at the end of the trailer).

go to www.gametrailers.com and look it up. any metal gear solid fan knows what i mean by how awesome this game is; just too bad the ps3 costs so much to buy, but i'll probably leech off a friend to play it. hehe  Grin

Well, for those that don't know, MGS4 is for sure the finale of the Metal Gear Solid series, which is sad to hear, but yet, perfect for it to end.

I've heard opinions from friends that splinter cell is better stealth game than the metal gear solid games, which i do agree in several aspects. But you don't play the metal gear solid series mainly for the gameplay, you play it mianly for the STORY. (at least i think so) The story is very complex and drives the gamer to think real hard. i kid you not. i'd say more but i don't want to write a novel.

also, i luv the lil things that are put into the games. like the boxes, mini (side) games, sexy magazines, pictures of models, etc.

Haven't played any of the series?? well, get started and begin to dive into the espionage adventure that is Metal Gear Solid (1-4).

 LOL!

I wish they had more of them on PC. I gave up on console gaming many moons ago, but I LOVE MGS. I started playing Metal Gear when it was on NES in the 80's. You whipper-snappers probly don't remember it. Back in my day, we played games that scrolled right to left! And we were greatful! Had to kill a streaming line of enemies! Up hill! Both ways! In the snow!!! BUCK NAKED!!! Damn kids these days don;t know how good they have it. You should all be cane switched out behind the barn I say! Every last one'a ye!

what would you say the learning curve for the control style is, i tried it, a little awkward for me.

Resident Evil was tough for me to get used to, but worth while.

if anyone has played both let me know which control style you think is more difficult.

i did just fine with the mgs controls, but i have never tried RE style. I have heard that the RE style controls were weird.

On every single RE except for 4 the controls sucked so bad it wasn't even funny.

On RE 4 they were godlike.

Not to say RE<4 weren't good games, but RE4 takes the cake in a big way.

yeah i know

RE you just have to get into the story enough to want to learn the controls.

what i'm wondering is, with that in mind, which is more difficult MGS or RE
