I know some of you didn't like The Witcher when I recommended it, which I can understand - the game is an acquired taste.

Mass Effect, however, is flipping awesome regardless of how you look at it.  It's relatively short (20 hours) and has one of the best stories I've ever seen in a video game with great acting. (At least in comparison to any other RPG ever made.)

everything i've seen while looking into this game says it's good, if/when i get a 360 i'll be getting this game.

a huge cast of voice actors, it's more of an interactive movie. seth green, lance henricksen, keith david.

I will agree that Mass effect is a pretty god damn awesome game, but I will warn those people without extra money that it is worth a rent at first.

The reason I say this is I rented it for 5 days, and beat it twice within that time period without breaking a sweat. now if you're a power-gaming asshole like myself, twice is not enough and I plan to rent it again to beat it on insane difficulty, and perhaps the highest one. So if you don't have extra cash, but have a 360, give it a shot. I loved it!

Shweet, I'm buying this once it's released for PC in May:

Edit: Sadly EA is involved.  I'm not sure I can buy this game.

I can't see it being a very good PC port, this was a game that was complimented excessively because of the console.

But if they can pull of the control scheme to work for a pc, then it would be awesome.
