Lord of the Ring MMO Beta

I participated in the Stress Test for this game this weekend.  Overall the feel of the game has potential.  Its as if the developers were trying to combine Guild Wars and World of Warcraft into one game inside the Lord of the Rings Universe. 

While nothing jumped out at me as "wow this is amazing" I was disappointed in the game either.  You could tell that it was a Stress test and still beta as their servers were lagging terribly.  You couldn't get into any part of the world where there were other players without a significant amount of choppy play.  It made fighting enemies a bit difficult also.

I wonder how the game will be once they finalize out all the bugs and how PvP play will be.

Anyways, if you're into MMOs it maybe a game you might want to check out.

I also participated in the stress test.  I don't really like MMOs, but I thought I'd give this one a chance since I like LOTR.

All I can say is MEH.  They're all the same to me.

I'm waiting for the MMO of life to come out.

As for LOTR, I don't think I'll be buying another MMO. If I want to get back in to MMO's I'll just rejoin the ranks of the Guild Wars players.
