Well sir, I do a lot for the sake of humor. Especially subtle things that only a select few notice. But it makes me laugh.
I purposely use bad grammar at times to create irony and elicit humor. At other times I do not use bad grammar, I just stray from the common. That will never change, you may as well accept it. I didn't know the difference between then and than, nor to and too. I thought I did, but clearly I did not. That is the one area in which you have basis for judgment.
Normally I would not care what you think about my abilities. But some people have made a big deal out of it and I feel that after all this time I must give a rebuttal. One of my friends, an English major, has given me many compliments on my writing ability and grammar. I often send out an e-mail to many of my contacts, sort of like a blog-style tale. In turn I have received many compliments. Some have seriously encouraged me to pursue a writing.
So consider for a moment that you have no idea who I am. I have created an online identity and personality molded around the community. It brings out what I enjoy most about the community, and the game. It doesn't accurately represent who I am in real life. If you wish to address my ability, please ensure you do so with due respect to your lack of knowledge.
And sir, this is nothing against you. I just feel as though I've been backed into a corner by a few haughty dullards and I must force my way out.
