Crysis Warhead

Way way way way back in the forums I did a review of the original Crysis game.
And to be quite frank, in terms of excellence nothing has changed. I was honestly thinking about keeping the subject title up there and just putting a post saying "10/10"
There are a few updates to CryEngine 2, the game engine used to run Crysis. This game is absolutely superb, an fps and a graphics engine that combine to make, in my opinion, the best first person shooter game ever created. High end graphics cards are required for this game, it's not like CS where if you have a low end card or an out of date driver it will still run, this game will not, your computer will crash, I've seen it first hand.
Brief plot synopsis: Your part of a special unit in the American army dropped into North Korea to investigate an alien ship that has crashed there. You find yourself fighting North Korean Soldiers and aliens. The game ends on a cliffhanger, and the second installment of Crysis, Warhead, picks up from that cliffhanger. Other than being a basic FPS, which it is, you also have special abilities such as super strength, and speed, that are given to you by your super awesome exo-skeleton suite, courtesy of the US Army, which make the game extremely fun. Weapons are customizable, you can attach different things to different weapons. 
New Weapons, New Vehicles, same high end performance.

Probably the only game I will EVER give a 10/10

I do agree that it is a good game!

It is underrated in my opinion only because people brush it off as another first person shooter with super robot suit....

except this suit actually heavily contributes to the gameplay mechanics rather than just aesthetics/plot.

Now I have less than 24 hours to wait for my rma'd 4850 to get back.... then it's crysis time...

i played through it a few days ago. took me about 5 hours on hard.
great game. i did not like crisis very much. i sort of enjoyed it for about 3 hours then got bored.
warhead is so much better! the game runs smoother, the pace of the game and story is faster, and there are better weapons. its an excellent, exciting little jaunt and i recommend it to everyone.
