Why not camp Friday night?
can you really camp friday night if it's going to be a pool party during the afternoon/early evening? i would think we'd be somewhat tired after it. just camp out in frostie's backyard. Or infront of his fridge... Oh, snap.

it sounds like there will be no tent pitching Yeah, almost all of your activities have very little to do with the camping area (minus the boating) and your night activities are all city-bound, destined to run late in to the night. So the question is now If you aren't tent pitching, what is accommodation plan for anyone who will not have a place to stay? That should be about #1 on the priority list - you really can't do anything for anyone who is coming out of town unless there is some sort of plan for accommodations. Unless, of course, you just tell them to get a hotel room; that always works. Just to get things super straight, this is how I'm seeing the schedule at the moment: FriMorning - None Day - None Evening - Frosty's Pool Party 6-11PM SatMorning - None Day - Boating Evening - Enhanced-Pant's LAN SunMorning - None Day - None (Boating???) Evening - Big Ed's We've still got some holes to fill. I'm assuming the parties will cancel out any morning activities, however, there are still holes to fill on Friday and Sunday.

Only one problem with that is big Ed's closes at 3pm.....Not unless dcr can pull some strings with his parents, we'll have to do it in the morning.

i really wanted to have a campfire and get drunk. ill probably be most likely getting a hotel room too. let me know where you're going to stay and ill try and stay there too or close by. the thing is that i'm going to be there thurs - mon its already going to cost me a small fortune to get there in gas (and yes. i want to drive)

I'm no longer out of the loop, maybe I can get off work early friday, I usually work 7 to 3 and It's about 6-7 hour drive for me to SLC area, IF I were to stay at a hotel/motel it would probably be like a motel 6 or something in that price range. I was also hoping for campfire and drunkenness, how long is the drive for you lissa?

I also want to camp it up as long as campfires are still allowed.
Saturday night camp fire at Deer Lake anyone?? Sounds relaxing.
Maybe a few of us could hold the camping place down while the rest go to the Lan. I probably will have to miss the Lan.

i hope campfires are allowed. thats my main goal. the chair. the fire. the alcohol. good times. im game for a campfire. ill go to the lan maybe for a couple hours but i dont want to make it into a whole evening. i cant play that long anymore. so then are you going to camp killa? or just the fire?

Lissa, its about 10-11 hours. depending on how fast you drive. that and traffic on your side of things. I have made the journey in 9.5 hours driving pretty steadily. But be very careful after vegas, its a long stretch and its easy to speed like a madman. and boy howdy do they watch that road for that crap.
SO i need to know how many ppl are coming to the lan like asap that way we know if we can hold it and Pants international HQ or if we need to squat at a warehouse or some such thing.

We drove from Provo to San Diego in 8.5 hours once... Average speed 110..
1 of us got a ticket... Fortunately It was my brother in law and not me, as I was following in the car behind him.

Lukky and Ikonoclast are down to go to the LAN, so long as Jamin is willing. Also, did I hear correct that the Lost Pants have spare monitors?
