Because I'm so white and nerdy.
No, but really...
Ok, last January I had jaw surgery, Saggial Split for those who are interested. Essentially what it did was move my lower jack about .25" (I had a HUGE underbite and it was begining to affect my breathing) After surgery I couldn't eat anything that couldn't be injected in to my mouth via a syringe with a long rubber tip. During those 3 weeks I lost 35 pounds, and could not eat anything but ensure, protein shakes, jamba juice etc.
Following those 3 weeks I couldn't eat anything but really mushy, and soft food. For a while I was living off of mashed potatoes, fries, and everything else I could mash in to my mouth. This was such a change from the "SUPER HEALTH FOOD" that I just about died. I felt horrible, I couldn't move, and I was almost always sick to my stomach. Accordingly, I went back to eating health food.
Ever since I regained my ability to eat normal food, I've been eating nothing but the most healthy stuff I can afford. I HATE chocolate, I HATE sweets, I HATE icecream, I HATE soda (the carbonation burns my throat after 3 years), but I aboslutely LOVE healthy, and balanced food.
Now the real reason why I keep eating that type of food after so long:
It's fast, it's easy, I don't have to think about what I'm eating, I can live the type of lifestyle I life using that diet and not burn out.
Any questions?
