Ya, interorganization relationships never work out. Whether it be a business, club, sports team, dance troupe, etc...
It always ends bad.

I have dated someone I supervised and I have to agree that it is not a good idea. It is especially not fun after the dating ends. I now work at a place where it seems everyone is encouraged to marry inside the company. A female friend of mine helped me get the job here and until she moved to the next state over it was impossible to convince people at the office that we were not dating. So my vote is for not getting involved with people at work, but sometimes you don't always pick who you lose your wits over.

Haha, I was just reading this stuff and thinking about how threads here only stay on topic for about 2.33619834 posts. Anyway, on topic... The two girls I share office space with are both involved with guys from work, one of them with a guy here and the other with a guy at her other job. Both have had occasions where it makes work dreadful aweful at times to the point of being unable to do their jobs. With as many hours as a person spends at work with the same people it is understandable that relationships will form over time. It's a lot easier to get to know someone when you're forced to spend 40 hours a week together than it is when you're granted 2-5 min to first impress a person out in the social scene.
