When they say "I want you to go have fun" it really means "stay with me or you're sleeping on the couch"

Like last week on Thursday night I was on my way to go play basketball (which I do every Thursday night) and my wife said, "You're going to play basketball?"  and I said, "I was planning on it, do you want me to stay?" and then she said "Yeah, go have fun."

So I went and played basketball......... and came home to sleep on the couch.....
