i believe that i live in the square right where it says laytona and hill field road, real close to that big squiggly line. happy days lie ahead of me in which i may perform the macarena in an earth quake.

Yeah. That didn't end well.
Did he make you put your shirt back on?  The nukular bomb drills were the best.  You huddled up under your desk.  Damn, they just don't make desks like they used to.

We used to have earthquake drills at my Elementary school in VA we would run out into the halls, crouch down, and put our hands over our heads.  Even then I thought that was stupid.  We used to do the same thing for hurricanes too, even though we weren't all that close to the shore.

that's weird, sam. we do kinda the same thing for hurricane drills here in utah. except we wear tinfoil hats and praise xenu. also danced on desks.

No not very much.  Even then I thought those drills were pointless.  But even places that don't have plate activity can have earth quakes.  i.e. Like 6-8 years back while I was In high school in NH we had a 2.0ish earthquake.  It woke me up but I didn't even know it happened until I saw the news the next morning.
