Meh, I have a normal Kandalf.

It was a novel concept at the time I bought it, but not it seems impractical. The case is just too big, too heavy, and too flashy for any reasonable purpose.

I still sleep in it at times, though, when the heater goes out.

:/ Laby, your going to hell for that.

IMO the computer is way too heavy if your going to move it on a regular basis.  It is certainly not something you would drag to a LAN party.  But the case is a perfect size for me, not even close to "too big".  And it looks magnificent, not flashy.  If you were to deck it out with hundreds of lights it would be "too flashy" though.

I love the extra space to work with, especially if your running water cooling tubes everywhere.  I also like that my case looks like it should be high performance, and it is.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133024

I would recommend that case to ANYONE.  It is the only computer purchase that I have been 127% satisfied with.  The only complaint I have ever seen on the NewEgg that has any merit was the mounts for the front of the case seem like they should be a lot stronger.  But I have seen someone pickup the 50lb case by those mounts, and carry it around the house without damaging it.  The majority of the rest of the complaints show how little the person knew about airflow or how to use a measuring tape.

If you are considering buying it, they are usually out of stock within about two weeks of the time they got in stock.  And it is in stock right now.  I had to wait four months to buy my own.

Hmm... Very interesting. Thanks for the post.
