Meh it's going to be cracked in a few weeks and then they'll spend a few weeks coming out with a new one.

It's a cycle that happens with every single hack and msx isn't any different.

In all honesty, this hack isn't very out of the ordinary.

Okay - be honest. How many of you have installed and used hax?  I've never even gone looking for them, but I'm really curious about what they would do for my game.  I mainly run around like a j@ck@$$ and shoot at anything moving, so wall hax would probably help a lot.  If you have used them, does it help you spot others who are cheating?

I wanted to see what they looked like so I used them for about a week before VAC 2 was working and I really sucked with them on.  I tried to not be obvious but that just made me do even worse.  But I was constantly running into objects or pre-firing and giving myself away.  Turning off the wall hax helped.  The ones I enjoyed were the auto switch to pistol when your primary ran out of ammo, identifying items on the ground, everyone showing up on radar, no recoil or spread, and showing an enemies health.  Pretty much everything except seeing through walls was useful.  I felt so dirty thought that I reformatted and never touched them again.

I've used hax back in 1.6.  Used them blatently a couple of times in pubs just for kicks, but mostly used them on a private server to see exactly what they did so I could better watch for them as an admin.  I used to run the game with a wallhack installed to spot other hackers.  That was back before vac. Haven't used them since. Well except for that time we talked about a while ago to watch demos.  But never in game.

Honestly, I don't get the point of using hax.  It takes the fun out of the game.

well, i first learned of the msx hacks after searching "counter strike hack" on youtube and msx security was the most popular one being used.

then i would once in awhile go onto those NFO DM servers and i get angry (hence my name is sometimes aNGry b.ho) a lot of times on how people keep getting these amazing shots, specifically when they're a good distance away they shoot like 4 shot bursts at me with the ak and somehow end up getting a hs on me. it really furiates me as i've had problems with recoil and adjusting to recoil when i try that stuff. it gets me to wonder if they're legit in adjusting recoil or using a hack to do it for them.

can anyone here do something like heavy recoil adjustment and expect to get good results from it? i've always been led to use 2 shot bursts at medium-long distances, not 4....

so today i just decided to explore the msx security website and that's the source o those features for css hacks.

Dude your just asking to get you steam banned.  People will hack, people that are good and dont hack will be accused of hacking.  You'll never really know.  So the way I look at it, if I play against a hacker, its just gonna make me figure out a way to beat them, making me a better player.  So just play smarter and dont worry about it. And dont install any hacks and get banned because your gonna make OPG look bad.  Same goes for ghosting in vent while on the pub.  Its gay, dont do it, nuff said.
