How are you trying to load the demos?

I usually use shift+f2 once CS has loaded to pull up the DEMO PLAYER... Try that... see if it works.

How have you been reviewing your demos for haxors??  Only way I know of that you can review a portion of the demo over and over again, and jump out of locations and view when opposing teams have been spotted by your teammates, etc. ?

Well, you can do all of that with console commands.

Hey, I have and have had my fair share of linux boxes... I prefer command line for system commands and process management, but not for moving around in a graphical enviornment.

but not for moving around in a graphical enviornment.

Especially for anything that involves video, such as demo watching and reviewing.

Can you imagine video editing from a command line? Blegh.
