Ok folks,
I have been reading a good deal of classics lately and I would like to see what everyone else thinks of them. So if you have read a classic, recently or not then put it down for discussion. Then we can have them battle. I would like to put Charles Dickens in the red corner, the books i have read of his recently are Bleak House, and David Copperfield. David Copperfield is a fantastic read though I was dissappointed to find absolutely no magic in it whatsoever. bummer. but this guy is good if you havent read any of his stuff and you like classic books then you should probably read Dickens.

LOL!  Now the censors have gone overboard.

I love classics.  But in recent years I haven't read any.

I know huh. crazy. here are a few classics that i recommend....

David Copperfield. (it is seriously one of the best books i have read)
For Whom the Bell Tolls, Hemingway, (this is an amazing war story that has some hot spanish chick it. seriously look it up)
Moby Dick by Melville, (super good book about how a mans heart can be changed by his incredible desire for revenge. its a really dark book. one of my favs)
the count of monte Cristo (once again a great book on revenge)
and the Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas,  (this one is nothing like any of the movies. seriously the only things that are similar is the characters. Its got great adventures, political intrigue and manly romance.((not man, man romance but romance that is suited for a man.))
