i just finished The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks

i really enjoyed it, every scenario was thought about and addressed. it's great, at the end of the book there are a few pages to fill out your own "outbreak journal" good stuff.

That guy had a seminar last year at SLCC that i had tickets to attend. Unfortunately i was called out of town on business so i missed it. I am still kinda pissed about it. zombies are cool.

Last book I read was Toll the Hounds by Steven Erikson.  I'm currently reading Return of the Crimson Gaurd by Ian Esselmont.  If you like epic fantasy, check these guys out.

For a shorter read, I recently read Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.  It's the first in a trilogy (his first published book actually) and it's superb.  I'd recommend it.

Name of the Wind is good. Im not the biggest fan of Erikson even though he's one of the juggernauts in the genre.

Last fantasy book I read was The Warrior-Prophet by Scott Bakker. It's not that great, but it'll hold me over until the next book from the Song of Ice and Fire series comes out.
