The Last book I read was Ender's Shadow.   I'd read Ender's Game and some of its sequels a few years ago, so I figured I'd take a look at the story from this point of view.

I didn't enjoy it as much... But it as still a decent book.

The enderverse series (speaker of the dead, xenocide, children of the mind) is truly great. Deep, philisophical, but in a very light, jovial fashion.

The shadow series is just a "Bondesque" type series where you get a fast, shallow adventure series which can keep you on the edge of your seat. Akin to any of Dan Brown's books.

Very much so.

The whole beginning was basically a guy organizing papers. or something.

Probably his best book ever, although I could easily fall asleep between missions.  But, Without Remorse, now theres a book you can't fall asleep through.

I just finished the latest installment of the Halo books.  I have been very impressed with the story line and writing.  Eric Nylund never loses my attention.

You mean a great twist of partial truths and lots of fiction.  Wink
