I was muted and banned by an unknown admin on Oct. 11.  Myself and another user were talking to eachother over the mic with information that was relevant to the game.  e.g.:
'lets throw nades over", "lets camp construction until they get here", etc.  The admin muted me (but not the other player) because of this.  It should be noted that we were laughing and having a good time, but everything we were talking about was related to the game and completing objectives.

It should be noted that the same admin seemed to have no problem with having tons of kids call people "niggers" all night long, and spamming the mic in other ways.  I thought that in particular was BS and so I rejoined the server so I could ask who was admin so I could make a thread about them here, at which point I was immediately banned for "retrying"...

He is, however there is another player that also has that name. If you have a problem, the quickest way to find out if there is an admin is to type (in team chat) @ "Your Message" and if an admin is on they'll most likely respond.

It was I who banned you.  You and your "buddy" were both silenced for spamming the mic.

I love how you guys come in here with total innocence.  Never ceases to amuse me.  I listened to you two repeatedly talk about "camping the well" on inferno one too many times.  I believe it lasted 7 or 8 rounds.  You were interrupting my, as well as every other CT's play with your incessant rambling.

I silenced both of you.  You changed your name to "unmute me" and "who muted me?" and "unmute me bad admin" and "i would have defused if i wasn't muted".

You then typed retry in console, which is breaking server rules, so you were given a 10 minute break.

And anyone who knows me knows that I don't tolerate racism.  If someone would have said it on the server, they would have been permabanned.  No one did (that I saw), much less 2,000 people, as you claim.  No one other than you and your friend were spamming the mic, but nice try.

In any case, thank you for taking the time to post.

As per usual, the person under fire is going to make up lies to save his butt.

Camping the well for 7-8 rounds?  We jumped onto the well literally once and Bailey's was telling me that it was a good spot if you smoke underneath it.  It didn't even last half a round, let alone 7-8 rounds.  After that we went to A to defend that bomb site.

And yes, there WERE people saying "nigger" on the mic (2000 is obviously an exaggeration).  That is why I rejoined because I was so enraged that you would let people spew racist bullshit but wouldn't let me talk about smoking a spot or camping a bombsite.  I wanted your name to report you for that bullshit alone.

If you want to play in silence, steam was nice enough to include the voice_enable command for you, but there are others that like to use the mic to communicate and coordinate game play together.  Forcing a user to take "a 10 minute break" because an admin is having personal problems is not good for the server or the community.
