Obvious sign of a wallhacker is having his crosshairs constantly on the floor. It's easier to see people through walls without your crosshairs getting in the way.

That was my tell when I cheated in 1.6.

Unfortunately, I suck too bad to be suspected anymore. Ask the team we played against on train.
